Jeff Goldblum to star in Wicked

Earlier, reports were going rounds that actor Jeff Goldblum will be part of the upcoming film Wicked. Recently, speaking at Jimmy Kimmel Live, the actor confirmed the same. According to Collider, he said, "I was just on the set of Wicked. I'm not supposed to talk about that. But it's been out and about."

Reports also note that he will play the role of the wizard. The film also stars Cynthia Erivo as Elephaba, Ariana Grande as Glinda, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible and Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero. it may be noted that Wicked: Part 1, directed by Jon M Chu, will hit the theatres on November 27, 2024. Wicked is a prequel to The Wizard of Oz, telling the story of how Elphaba turned into the Wicked Witch of the West and how Glinda became the Good Witch.
