David Harbour, who plays Detective Jim Hopper in Netflix series Stranger Things, announced that the last season would go on floors in June. The actor announced the news at Middle East Film & Comic Con this weekend in Abu Dhabi.
Regarding the shooting, the actor said," "We're walking into season five. I've got a couple more months to train. We start shooting that in June, though, and that will be the final season. I did a lot of training for season four."
The series, which is currently four seasons old, is yet to announce the premiere date of the fifth instalment.
Most cast members of the fourth season will be reprising their roles in the fifth. The ensemble cast includes Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Cara Buono, Maya Hawke, Sadie Sink, Priah Ferguson, and Brett Gelman.
