Actor Tom Sizemore passed away after suffering a brain aneurysm. His manager Charles Lago confirmed that the 61-year-old actor was taken off life support.

According to Variety, Lago, in a statement said, "It is with great sadness and sorrow I have to announce that actor Thomas Edward Sizemore ('Tom Sizemore') aged 61, passed away peacefully in his sleep today at St Joseph's Hospital Burbank."

He noted that the actor's brothers Paul and twin boys Jayden and Jagger were at his side at the time of the demise. Lago had previously said on February 27 that "doctors informed his family that there is no further hope and have recommended end-of-life decision."

It may be noted that Sizemore collapsed in his Los Angeles home on February 18 and was later transferred to the hospital by paramedics. Following the examination, the doctors determined that he had suffered a brain aneurysm due to a stroke. Following that, Sizemore was admitted to the ICU and remained in critical condition.

The actor's debut project was considered to be Born on the Fourth of July in 1989. He was known for playing the tough guy. He rose to fame with films like Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man, Passenger 57, True Romance, Natural Born Killers and Saving Private Ryan, among several others. It may also be noted that Sizemore was also convicted as an abuser. Sizemore is survived by his two children, Jagger and Jayden.
