An animated series adaptation of Among Us, the popular online multiplayer social deduction game that gained popularity during the pandemic, is in the works. Innersloth, the developer and publisher behind the game, has joined forces with CBS Studio to develop the series.

According to Variety, Owen Dennis, who is best known for creating the Cartoon Network series, Infinity Train,  is roped in as the creator and executive producer of the show. Titmouse will serve as the animation studio for the series.

According to the official logline, the series is inspired by the game's concept, "Members of your crew have been replaced by an alien shapeshifter intent on causing confusion, sabotaging the ship, and killing everyone. Root out the 'Impostor' or fall victim to its murderous designs."

The series is yet to get a streamer.
