With the 1989 action film Road House getting an adaptation starring Jake Gyllenhaal, the remake is also set to feature Jessica Williams who will appear in an unnamed role.
The film was green lit in August 2022 and revolves around a former UFC middleweight fighter who works at a rowdy bar.
“It was so cool working with himHe’s an amazing actor. I was so excited to do Road House with Jake Gyllenhaal. He’s an insane actor. Every time, you’re learning. My job as an actor, especially on Shrinking, is to make everyone look good by knowing what the hell I’m doing on set. I love volleying, and I got to do that with Jake," Jessica was quoted as saying during an interview with Variety.
Road House also stars Billy Magnussen, Daniela Melchior, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Lukas Gage, Hannah Love Lanier among others. It is directed by Doug Liman, with the script by Anthony Bagarozzi and Charles Mondry
