All About My Father was shot during Covid-19 pandemic, says Kim Cattrall

Actor Kim Cattrall, who is basking in glory for her performance in the recently released, About My Father, has shared that they shot the film when Covid-19 was raging across the globe.

According to the actor, About My Father's shoot began during the peak of the pandemic in 2021. "That long ago! And it took a long time, and it was a difficult film to make while COVID was raging in the South in Mobile, Alabama. So we kind of bonded together. So now when I see Leslie or I see Sebastian or Bob occasionally, he's very busy and most of the actors are after that - before that and after that. But to see them again is just wonderful because we had that very special time together."

She further said that although they designed the film as an out-and-out comedy, the audiences also felt touched.
About My Father is directed by Laura Terruso and written by Austen Earl and Sebastian Maniscalco. Starring Robert De Niro and Sebastian Maniscalco in the lead roles, the story centers around the father-son relationship and the family dynamics.
