

Rapper Tupac Shakur will be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on June 7. He was killed in September 1996 at the age of 25.
"Tupac Shakur was a rapper, actor, activist, poet, and revolutionary. This iconic artist has continued to be part of the zeitgeist for decades after his passing and will continue to be an important cultural figure for many years to come,” said Ana Martinez, Hollywood Walk of Fame producer. Ana also expressed that his star will go on to become one of the visited stars.
Recognised as one of the influential rappers, Tupac died after he was involved in the drive-by shooting in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996. Also known as 2Pac and Makaveli, has sold over 75 million records worldwide. Hia works have been considered to address social issues and speak against inequality.
