Marvel and Sony's Spider-Man 4 has finally got an update from the makers. Tom Holland will return for the Marvel Cinematic Universe's next Spider-Man film, and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has already revealed that Spider-Man 4's story has been set.
Speaking with Variety, Spider-Man franchise producer Amy Pascal shared an update on the status of Holland's Spider-Man 4. He started by confirming that Spider-Man 4 is moving forward before revealing that the film is affected by the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike.
Holland's next Spider-Man solo movie might be confirmed; however, the film's release date is not. Till now, every Holland Spider-Man movie has been released two years after the previous film. Spider-Man 4 is likely to break that trend.
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will likely feature Spider-Man, and the film releases on May 2, 2025. Spider-Man 4 should ideally debut after the next Avengers film, with a Summer or Winter 2025 release.
