Trailer of Physical S3 is out 

The third and final season of Apple TV+ series Physical was revealed by the streaming platform recently. Starring and executive produced by Rose Byrne, the series is created by Annie Weisman.

Besides Rose, the cast also includes Rory Scovel, Dierdre Friel, Paul Sparks, and Zooey Deschanel. The third season of Physical will premiere on August 2 with the first two episodes of the 10-episode season.

The series is set against the backdrop of 1980s San Diego, where Rose plays Sheila Rubin. As she changes from quietly tortured housewife to dominant fitness entrepreneur, the series shows her battle for wiggling her way out of an unsatisfying marriage to Danny, while fostering a dangerous relationship with real-estate mogul John Breem. While she confronts dark voices within her own mind, with the help of her loyal friend and business partner Greta, Sheila finds confidence and inner-strength though her work as a teacher and entrepreneur.

The third season’s synopsis reads, “Sheila finds her status challenged by rising celebrity exercise goddess Kelly Kilmartin, who becomes not only a professional threat, but manages to get in her head. Will Sheila prevail, or will Kelly’s presence in her life undermine the hard-earned healing and stability that Sheila has worked fought so hard for.”

Physical is backed by Tomorrow Studios with the show directed by Stephanie Laing, who also serves as executive producer alongside Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements and Alissa Bachner for Tomorrow Studios, and Byrne.
