On Monday, actor Ryan Reynolds took to his Instagram story to share a photo of himself as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, from the sets of their upcoming film Deadpool 3. While Reynolds is seen in his usual Deadpool ensemble, it is refreshing to see Jackman back in the yellow suit, after quite a few years.
Deadpool 3, which marks the reunion of Ryan Reynolds and Jackman, is slated for release on May 4, 2024. Deadpool 3 will be the first R-rated film set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With Hugh Jackman starring as Wolverine, it will be his final appearance as the character. The film is helmed by Shawn Levy who has worked with Ryan Reynolds in Free Guy and The Adam Project, while he worked with Hugh in Reel Steal.
Morena Baccarin, Emma Corrin, Jennifer Garner, and Stefan Kapicic are also part of the cast. Deadpool 3 was shot amid the WGA strike, which means Ryan will not be able to improvise his lines.
