Daniel Radcliffe opens up about possibilities of his involvement in Harry Potter series 

We had earlier reported that the newly branded HBO Max will be adapting the Harry Potter franchise into a series format with author JK Rowling serving as the executive producer. While the reboot was announced a few months back, actor Daniel Radcliffe who portrayed the role of Harry Potter in the films, opened about the possibilities of his involvement in the series.

Speaking to ComicBook, the actor said, "My understanding is that they're trying to very much start fresh, and I'm sure whoever is making them will want to make their own mark on it and probably not want to have to figure out how to get old Harry to cameo in this somewhere. So I'm definitely not seeking it out in any way. But I do wish them, obviously, all the luck in the world, and I'm very excited to have that torch passed. But I don't think it needs me to physically pass it." However, Daniel did not rule out the chances of him making a cameo appearance in the series.

Daniel played the titular role and appeared in all the eight films. Understandably, the makers of the series are looking to cast fresh faces for the reboot.

It is to be noted that Warner Bros has earlier developed each book into a film, released between 2001 and 2011. While the first six parts were made into a single film, the last one, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, was divided into two films.
