It was earlier reported that filmmaker Anton Corbijn is set to direct Switzerland. The latest update is that the film's production will begin in October or November in Europe.
In an exclusive interaction with Collider, Corbijn said that the story is about a writer named Patricia Highsmith, who wrote Mr Ripley and Strangers on a Train. He also clarified that it's not a biopic but a fictional film with biographical elements. Highsmith is known for writing over 20 novels across her career, most of them psychological thrillers.
Meanwhile, the BAFTA-nominated director was recently at the Sundance Film Festival to promote his very first feature documentary—Squaring The Circle (The Story of Hipgnosis). The documentary is about two famous graphic designers who created the cover for Pink Floyd’s legendary albums The Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here.
