We had previously reported that Annette Bening will be heading Peacock's upcoming limited series Apples Never Fall. Now, actor Allison Brie has also joined the cast of the series. Apples Never Fall is based on Liane Moriarty's novel of the same name.

Apples Never Fall revolves around the Delaneys family. The family comprises Joy (Annette Bening), a former tennis coach, her husband Stan and their four children. After decades of marriage, they have finally sold their famed tennis academy and are ready to start what should be the golden years of their lives. But after Joy disappears, her children are forced to re-examine their parents’ marriage and their family history with fresh eyes. Allison Brie will play Amy Delaney, the oldest child of Joy.

Allison Brie has previously starred in series like Mad Men, Community, Bojack Horsemen, and GLOW. She was last seen in Somebody I Used to Know, written and directed by her husband Dave Franco. She will next appear alongside John Cena in the action comedy Freelance, and in the long-awaited Community reunion film.

Apples Never Fall  hails from writer, showrunner and executive producer Melanie Marnich, with David Heyman serving as executive producer and Chris Sweeney will be directing multiple episodes.
