Netflix is set to adapt Harlan Coben's thriller novel Fool Me Once into a limited series, which will star Michelle Keegan, Richard Armitage and Joanna Lumley.

Fool Me Once is about a woman named Maya Stern who is still coping up with the murder of her husband Joe. However what shocks her most is when a camera installed to watch her daughter reveals her husband's presence in the house. Detective Sergeant Sami is roped in to investigate the case, while Maya's niece and nephew have their own case of their mother's murder to solve. In the series, Michelle will play the role of Maya while Richard will essay her husband Joe.

The limited series will also star Emmett J Scanlan, Dino Fetscher, Marcus Garvey, Hattie Morahan, James Northcote, Dänya Griver, Daniel Burt, Adelle Leonce, Natalia Kostrzewa, and Laura Gibbons

While in the book the story takes place in the US, the adaptation sets its premise in the UK. The production is happening in Manchester. Harlan will executive produce the show along with Danny Brocklehurst, Nicola Shindler, and Richard Fee. Danny will also be the head writer, with David Moore and Nimer Rashed as directors.
