The Cleaning Lady renewed for season 3

The Cleaning Lady has been renewed for Season 3 at Fox. The series is a co-production between Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment. Season three will also bring a new co-showrunner to the series, Jeannine Renshaw. 

The announcement of the third season comes after The Cleaning Lady aired its Season 2 finale on Dec. 12. The Cleaning Lady is based on the Argentine series La chica que limpia. The drama series focuses on the life of Thony De La Rosa, a mother and formerly a Cambodian-Filipino surgeon who lives in the United States for her ill son's treatment. Until she gets treatment for her son, Thony makes a living not as a trained physician but as a cleaning service worker. She accidentally witnesses a crime and is discovered hiding by the perpetrator. She gets a job as a cleaner and a doctor within their criminal organization that could pay well enough to help her son and her family. Thus Thony begins a double life hiding secrets from her family, cleaning murders and dodging the law.
