The sixth season of FX‘s What We Do In The Shadows which begins production on its sixth season in January, will be its last.
The series premiered in 2019 and was created by Jemaine Clement for FX Productions. It is based on the 2014 film of the same name directed by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. Made in the style of a Mockumentary, the series follows the adventures of goofy vampires who still struggle to live in society even after centuries of being alive.
What We Do In The Shadows season 5's ending saw the vampires tackle their most difficult situation yet. After Guillermo became a vampire without Nandor, the former familiar spent the season avoiding revealing the truth to his master, only for Nandor to learn in the final two episodes. While Guillermo learned that the vampire lifestyle didn't suit him and was turned human once more with the help of Nandor and his friends, the finale gave him a new perspective on life.
What We Do In The Shadows stars Kristen Schaal, Mark Proksch, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillén, and Kayvan Novak.
