Jonathan Majors fired by Marvel and Walt Disney after found guilty of harassment

Actor Jonathan Majors is ousted from the upcoming Marvel Studios film after a Manhattan jury found him guilty of third degree assault and harassment of his former partner Grace Jabbari. The verdict came after a two-week trial following an incident that happened in March.

Jonathan played the role of Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and was supposed to play the lead in the upcoming Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. While the film is scheduled to release on May 1, 2026, the shooting is yet to begin with a director yet to be roped in.

Jonathan was arrested on March 25 after police found that Grace had injuries. Following this, Jonathan was charged with third degree assault and second degree aggravated assault. In the trial, it was also revealed that an argument between the two lead to Grace taking the phone out of Jonathan's hands, leading to the latter twisting her arm.
