The shooting of the third season of British teen drama series Heartstopper has been wrapped up, the makers of the show revealed. Starring Kit Connor and Joe Locke in the lead roles, the season went on floors in October with Andy Newbery as the director.
The second season premiere in August and showed the students of Truham Grammar High School taking a trip to Paris. The third season is expected to focus on the changing dynamics between the lead pair, with Elle and Tao relationship on a positive track now.
Heartstopper is an adaptation of Alice Oseman's webcomic and graphic novel of the same name. The series follows the story of Charlie and Nick, who meet at the school and eventually realise that their friendship has bloomed into an unexpected romance. The cast includes William Gao as Tao Xu, Yasmin Finney as Elle Argent, Corinna Brown as Tara Jones, Kizzy Edgell as Darcy Olsson, and Sebastian Croft as Benjamin, among others.
A release date for the third season is yet to be announced.
