JK Simmons joins the cast of Juror No 2

Actor JK Simmons known for his roles in Whiplash, Spider-Man trilogy, and Juno, has joined the cast of the upcoming film Juror No 2. The film stars Nicholas Hoult and Toni Collette and is directed by veteran actor Clint Eastwood. The project is attached to Warner Bros.

The filming is currently underway in Atlanta. Others part of the cast include Gabriel Basso, Zoey Deutch, Leslie Bibb, Chris Messina and Kiefer Sutherland.

Juror No 2 has script by Jonathan Abrams. It follows the life of Justin Kemp played by Nicholas who is torn amid the ethics of his job as a juror. A particular verdict which is on his hands can swing eitherways as he is faced with the dilemma on how to judge.

Clint is also backing the project under his banner Malpaso, along with Tim Moore, Jessica Meier, Matt Skiena.
