The trailer of the upcoming supernatural thriller Piper is out. The upcoming film stars Elizabeth Hurley, in which she will be seen fighting the evil in a folklore legend that deals with child abduction.
Piper has been acquired by 101 Films from the writer and director Anthony Waller. The film is described to be a horrifying story of children paying up for the sins of their parents.
Liz (Hurley) and her daughter Amy (Mia Jenkins) are the protagonists of Piper, which will feature them relocating to a small town in Germany. However, things take a dark turn as find a girl from the locality dying under terrifying circumstances, and other evil events happening around them.
A happening from Liz's past results in the awakening of Piper, a devilish being that seeks redemption by abducting the children of those who have wronged him. Mia becomes the latest victim of Piper, and Liz has to save his daughter.
The world premiere of Piper is set to happen at the seminal FrightFest 2023 on August 27.
