The Fall of the House of Usher, the upcoming limited horror series from the horror auteur Mike Flanagan, is set to premiere on Netflix on October 12, the streaming giant made the announcement on social media. The makers also released the first look poster of the upcoming series.
Mike is known for helming horror series for Netflix, like Midnight Mass, The Haunting of the Hill House, The Haunting of the Bly Manor and latest The Midnight Club.
The upcoming series is based on Edgar Allan Poe's 1839 short story by the same name. The series will revolve around a corrupt pharmaceutical CEO who has to confront his past after each of his children begin to die in mysterious ways.
The Fall of the House of Usher stars Carla Gugino, Mary McDonnell, Willa Fitzgerald, Carl Lumbly, Mark Hamill, Henry Thomas, Crystal Balint, Kyliegh Curran, Samantha Sloyan, Matt Biedel, Kate Siegel, Rahul Kohli, Daniel Jun, T’Nia Miller, Paola Núñez, Sauriyan Sapkota, and Ruth Codd.
