Actor Al Pacino revealed that he might be working on the adaptation of Shakespeare's play King Lear. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor confirmed that his retirement is not in the near future and has four projects and a memoir in the pipeline.

While Pacino did not disclose the details of his projects, he confirmed working on King Lear adaptation in 2024.

King Lear is a tragedy and based on the mythological Leir of Britain. The play revolves around the titular character, who prepares for his old age as he divides his wealth among his two daughters.

Talking about his memoir, the actor was quoted as saying, "You get to that age, you start to do things like that. I stayed away from it, but I think I’ve got to sort of talk about certain things.' The memoir is yet-to-be titled and will be co-authored.
