We had previously reported that Lady Gaga will be playing the role of Harley Quinn in the upcoming film Joker: Folie a Deux. The actor-singer has now wrapped up shooting for the film, she took to Instagram to announce the same while sharing her look from the film.
Directed by Todd Phillips, Joker: Folie A Deux is set to release on October 4, 2024. The sequel will be a musical film (the original was squarely a dark and gritty drama). Phillips is also co-writing the screenplay with Scott Silver. Joaquin Phoenix will play the titular character.
The film's additional cast includes Catherine Keener, Brendan Gleeson, and Zazie Beetz.
