Director James Gray announced that he will be next directing the upcoming film titled Ezekiel Moss. The film is penned by Keith Bunin.

According to reports, while the film is produced by Likely Story, Gray and Bunin will team up to develop the full story. The film is said to be a depression-era ghost story about a young, imaginative boy living in a small town who befriends a mysterious drifter who may or may not have the supernatural ability to communicate with the dead. Earlier the film was supposed to be directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman. However, he passed away in 2014 and hence there was a change in the plans.

Gray, known for his critically acclaimed dramas like We Own The Night and Two Lovers, recently directed Armageddon Time for Focus Features. And Bunin, recently penned Disney's live-action hybrid of The Aristocats, with Questlove recently signing on to direct.
