Matthias Schweighofer, Sophie Okonedo and others join Gal Gadot's Heart of Stone

Army of Thieves-actor Matthias Schweighofer and Ratched-actor Sophie Okonedo have joined the cast of Netflix's upcoming spy-thriller Heart of Stone. The film is headlined by Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. Additionally, actors Jing Lusi and Paul Ready have also joined the cast of the film.

The news comes just a day after it was announced that Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt will make her Hollywood debut in the film.

Written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder, Heart of Stone is directed by Tom Harper. Plot details are currently kept under wraps. Gadot took to Instagram earlier this week to announce that she has started shooting for the film. The actor also revealed that her character's name in the film is Rachel Stone

Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger are producing the film along with Mockingbird’s Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn and Pilot Wave’s Gadot and Jaron Varsano. Harper, Rucka also executive produce along with Patty Whitcher.

Okonedo is best known for starring in drama films like Hotel Rwanda and The Secret Life of Bees, and in shows like Flack and Ratched. The actor can currently be seen in Kenneth Branagh's Death on the Nile, which also stars Gadot. Schweighofer is best known for playing Dieter in the Netflix films Army of the Dead and Army of Thieves, and the actor is set to star in the upcoming sports drama The Swimmers. Lusi is perhaps best known for her role in Crazy Rich Asians. She is all set to voice Black Tiger in the animated kids' show, Jade Armor. Ready is known for his roles on shows like The Terror and Motherland.
