Sandra Bullock to take an indefinite break from acting

Hollywood star Sandra Bullock has revealed that she will be taking an indefinite break from acting soon.

In an interview with ET Canada, the actor said that she will be taking a break and that she doesn't know for how long it will be. The actor added that for now, she needs to be “in the place that makes me happiest.”

"I take my job very seriously when I’m at work. It's a 24/7 job. And I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and my family. That’s where I’m gonna be for a while," she added.

Bullock broke out to fame in the early '90s with films like Speed, The Net, and Demolition Man. She further continued her run with films like Practical Magic, Forces of NatureTwo Weeks Notice, and The Proposal.

She went on to win a Best Actress Oscar win for her performance in The Blind Side. Her widely acclaimed role in Alfonso Cuaron's Gravity got her another Oscar nomination.

After starring in Netflix's Bird Box and Ocean's Eight in 2018, Bullock took a small break and returned with last year's The Unforgivable.

The actor's recent release is The Lost City, in which she stars alongside Daniel Radcliffe, Brad Pitt, and Channing Tatum. The actor will soon be seen in Brad Pitt's Bullet Train, which is set for a release this summer. Though a sequel to Bird Box was announced a while ago, there is no new development about the project.
