Michaela Coel, John Turturro, Paul Dano join the cast of Amazon series, Mr. and Mrs. Smith

Michaela Coel, John Turturro, and Paul Dano are set to join Donald Glover and Maya Erskine for the Amazon series, Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The three will reportedly make guest appearances in the show, but their exact character details are not yet known.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith is about John (Glover) and Jane (Erskine), who are hired by a mysterious spy agency, venturing into espionage, marriage, and learning to intimately navigate both. Glover is credited as the show's co-creator and executive producer alongside Francesca Sloane. Sloane also serves as the showrunner.

Coel is best known for the limited series I May Destroy You. She created, directed, and executive produced the show in addition to playing the lead role. She received four Emmy nominations for her work, winning the award for best writing for a limited series. Coel will next be seen in the Marvel film, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Dano was last seen as The Riddler in The Batman. He is also part of the upcoming Steven Spielberg directorial The Fabelmans.

Turturro is known for his film work in films like O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Do The Right Thing, and The Big Lebowski. He most recently starred in the Apple series, Severance.
