Actor-director John Krasinski has confirmed that his post-apocalyptic horror film A Quiet Place will be getting a third installment. Krasinski, who had helmed and starred in A Quiet Place (2018) and its sequel (2021), recently confirmed during the ViacomCBS Investory Day that a third film is in development. He also confirmed that A Quiet Place III will go on floors in 2025.

The A Quiet Place film series follows the trials and tribulations of a family struggling to survive in a post-apocalyptic world where all living beings are almost wiped out by an alien invasion.

Krasinski also established that this new film is completely separate from the previously announced A Quiet Place spinoff, written and directed by Michael Sarnoski of Pig-fame, which will hit screens on September 22, 2023.

Meanwhile, Krasinski is currently starring in a film titled IF which will also see him holding responsibilities like writing, directing, and co-producing. The film, that's scheduled to be released on November 17, 2023, also stars Ryan Reynolds, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Fiona Shaw, Steve Carell, Louis Gossett Jr, Alan Kim and Cailey Fleming.
