The Flash star Ezra Miller has finally broken his silence on the long list of ongoing controversies attached to his name. In the past few months, the actor has been constantly in the news for his involvement in legal issues.
In the recent statement that was made public, he said, “Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment. I want to apologise to everyone that I have been alarmed and upset with my past behaviour. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe, and productive stage in my life.”
The actor was recently detained for felony burglary charges. He was earlier accused of getting into physical fights with the locals in Hawaii. Reports also stated that he grew marijuana and stored firearms in the same mansion where he was housing a single mother and her young kids.
With the future of the DC universe already mired in uncertainty, the controversies attached to The Flash actor complicated things for executives at Warner Bros. The Flash was supposed to revive the DC cinematic universe, following Zack Snyder’s exit from the film franchise. Amid the flurry of cancellations at Warner Bros, and the ongoing controversies surrounding Ezra Miller, the studio still maintained that they are going ahead with The Flash’s release. The film is currently scheduled to release on 23 June 2023.
