Dune to hit the Indian screens on October 22

We had previously told you that Dune will hit the US and international screens on October 22, but the Indian release was unresolved as the theatres were shut then. Now it has been officially announced that the Denis Villeneuve directorial will reach the Indian screens on the same day. 

The official synopsis of Dune reads: “A mythic and emotionally charged hero's journey, Dune tells the story of Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people.

Villeneuve of Blade Runner 2049 fame, co-wrote the screenplay with Jon Spaihts and Eric Roth and directed an ensemble cast that includes Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Oscar Isaac, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, and Stellan Skarsgard.

Initially, the film was supposed to hit the screens on October 1.
