Shah Rukh Khan may be teaming up with Disney+ Hotstar for a new project, teases a video shared on Twitter by Karan Johar.

In it, Shah Rukh, waving at a crowd of fans, is told that he's one of those stars who doesn't have a show or film yet on Disney+ Hotstar. While Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and Sanjay Dutt have all had releases on the platform, SRK has been missing out on the fun. The actor looks stricken by this realisation in the 40-second promo.

"Never thought I’d see the day when even the Baadshah of Bollywood feels FOMO. Now I’ve seen everything!! @iamsrk," Karan wrote, sharing the clip.

SRK has not had a release, theatrical or otherwise, in the last three years. While he produced the Netflix show Bard of Blood, he is yet to make his digital debut on any platform.

Disney+ Hotstar has released several A-listed titles in the last year, including Laxmii, Bhuj: The Pride of India and the recent Bhoot Police. They've also announced a slew of new and returning titles on the platform.
