Netflix announces a new slate of releases

Netflix has announced numerous developments on 98 original titles — 70 series and 28 films — during its first-ever virtual fan event, Tudum.

The streaming giant also offered glimpses of its upcoming Indian titles, including Madhuri Dixit-starrer Finding Anamika, Kartik Aaryan's Dhamaka, Riteish Deshmukh and Tamannaah Bhatia's Plan A Plan B, Meenakshi Sundareshwar, starring Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dassani, to name a few.

The streamer also unveiled the first look for Aranyak, starring Raveen Tandon, and Vishal Bharadwaj's Khufiya, featuring Tabu in the lead role. Moreover, a sneak peek of the much-awaited Malayalam superhero film, Minnal Murali, featuring interviews of lead actor Tovino Thomas and director Basil Joseph, was revealed.

On the international content front, new footage from long-awaited films like Red Notice and Don't Look Up, in addition to official announcements on sequels to Murder Mystery, Enola Holmes, and Extraction.

Furthermore, the first trailer for Army of Thieves, the prequel to Zack Snyder's Army of Dead was launched at the event. Similarly, the streamer also released promotional teasers for the upcoming seasons of hit shows such as Stranger Things, Cobra KaiOzark, and The Witcher to name a few.

The streamer has also officially announced the fourth season of Sex Education in addition to unveiling the first look of The Sandman, the series adaptation of the DC comic book series.
