Emily in Paris season 2: BTS' Dynamite, All By Myself, and more songs covered by Ashley Park as Mindy 

Emily in Paris season 2 sees  Mindy (Ashley Park) cover a number of songs and all of them make it to our top Emily in Paris moments. From Mon Soleil, the first original that she sang as Mindy to singing the cover of a BTS song, Ashley steals the show every single time.

It all started with her brilliant cover of the famous French song La Vie En Rose. Then she gave a new meaning to belting out numbers when she covered Sia's Chandelier in the first season of the show. In season 2, Mindy explores the idea of singing as a profession seriously.

Despite being alienated from her father for her choices, she decides to give professional singing a try., and finds a gig that lets her perform in return for being the lady outside the toilet who collects pennies. 

The first song by Mindy, in season 2 of the show, is Dynamite by BTS. She is dressed in a beautiful feathery costume and is extremely excited to be under the spotlight. She goes from swinging on stage to locking lips with one of her girlfriends during the performance. 

From this, Mindy is convinced to go busking on the streets of Paris by two young men who she believes are gay. They form a band and she surprisingly finds the whole experience charming. She opens up to her bandmates and it does result in an unexpected conflict in her life, but she also finds herself a lover in one of her bandmates, Benoit.

The original that Mindy sings -- Mon Soleil -- is co-written by her. The lyrics are penned by Freddy Wexler. In Emily in Paris season 2 finale, the song is performed along with Benoit (Kevin Dias) who pens it for the girl that he fell in love with. 

Mindy sings All By Myself (originally by Eric Carmen) in episode 4. She then gets hired to cover Diamonds Are a Girls Best Friend (originally by Carol Channing) in episode 5, by none other than Emily. In the same episode, she also sings Je Ne Veux Pas Traveller (originally by Sole Giménez).

She then performs Falling Slowly from Once (originally by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova), with Benoit in the show. 

The complete original soundtrack of the show is slated to be released on December 31 via MTV Entertainment Studios.
