Nikhil Kumar’s debut Jaguar, a bilingual made in Kannada and Telugu, had Tammannah Bhatia making a guest appearance in a special song. Now for the actor’s second film, Seetharama Kalyana, the makers are said to have approached Bollywood actor, Jacqueline Fernandez.

Jacqueline is also known for her scintillating dance performances in songs like Aapka Kya Hoga (Dhanno), Jaadu Ki Jhappi (Ramayya Vastavaiya) and Ek Do Teen (Bhaagi 2). Our source says, “The team is keen on bringing in Jacqueline as part of Seetharama Kalyana and are in discussions with the actor now. They’re finalising payment and other terms.” Jacqueline, who was recently in the limelight for her role in Race 3, opposite Salman Khan, is now busy with Tarun Mansukhani’s Drive, in which she stars alongside Sushant Singh Rajput.

“The team is just waiting to get a nod from the actor. If all goes as per plan, and if Jacqueline gives us the green signal, she will be making her Kannada debut with this film,” our source adds.

Seetharama Kalyana, made under Channabika Productions, is being directed by A Harsha. The film features Rachita Ram in the female lead, with Sarath Kumar, Madhoo, and Ravi Shankar in supporting roles. The film has J Swamy as its cinematographer.
