Amazon Prime Video has released the trailer for the new season of The Family Man. Season 2 of the show, created by Raj and DK and starring Manoj Bajpayee, will premiere on the platform on June 4.

The new season resumes with Srikant Tiwari (Manoj) as he jostles the duality of being a middle-class family man and a world-class spy. We see him rotting away in a corporate job, attending marriage therapy, and desperately missing his old life. Unable to stay put, he’s eventually called over to Chennai, in pursuit of a new antagonist named Raji, played by Samantha Akkineni.

The new season also marks the return of Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi and Seema Biswas. Additionally, the series features a host of Tamil actors, including Mime Gopi, Ravindra Vijay, Devadarshini Chetan, Anandsami, and N Alagamperumal.

“The wait will finally be over on 4 June as Srikant Tiwari will return with a thrilling storyline, and ‘danger really has a new face’ — Samantha Akkineni, who has done a tremendous job, along with the always-fantastic ensemble cast. We are confident we have carved out an exciting season for you all, despite having to work through the pandemic," Raj and DK said.
