Acharya Teaser: Chiranjeevi turns saviour

The wait is over. The makers of the much-awaited Acharya dropped the teaser of the film today. The one-minute-long video that comes with a voice-over from Ram Charan, starts with the lines, "Itharulakosam jeevinche vaaru daivam tho samanam...alantivaari jeevithale pramadam lo padithe...(People who live for others are no less than god...And when such lives are in danger...God doesn't have to come as their saviour...)"

The teaser then shows glimpses of Chiranjeevi's character as Acharya, the saviour of the masses, who single-handedly takes down his enemies.

The audience could well get a glimpse of the yesteryear Chiranjeevi, who was quite effortless in delivering dialogues and bashing up goons. The grandeur, colour texture and background score of the teaser have been the talking point and with Chiru in full action, director-writer Koratala Siva seems set to hit the ball right out of the park.

The socio-political entertainer also features Kajal Aggarwal, Ram Charan, Ajay and Pooja Hegde in pivotal roles. Produced by Matinee Entertainments in association with Konidela Productions, Acharya is likely to be released on May 13. The film has music by Mani Sharma.
