Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Teaser: This Allu Arjun film promises to be a wholesome entertainer

The first teaser of Allu Arjun's Sankranthi release, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, has dropped and it shows him in perhaps his most intense, fun, and stylish role yet. The 83-second teaser opens with the voice-over of Sachin Khedekar introducing Allu Arjun's character, who was kept in "hiding like a bride" by the latter's father, played by Murali Sharma.

The video is packed with action and many exciting moments. One sequence which is bound to make an impact is Allu Arjun admonishing Samuthirakani, who appears to be the antagonist of the film.  

Allu Arjun aces the stunts and as the teaser progresses, we see him as a responsible man, who sets out on a mission in a swanky bungalow called Vaikunthapurramu. The teaser rides on Allu Arjun's swag and his ease at pulling off comedy and stunts is evident from the teaser. Also, the video shows a glimpse of Pooja Hegde in a romantic avatar and Sushanth in a crucial role. 

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the film also has Tabu, Jayaram, and Navadeep in supporting roles. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo will show Allu Arjun working in a travel agency run by Pooja Hegde. Produced by S Radha Krishna and Allu Aravind, it is slated for release on January 12.
