Amy Jackson's character name revealed in 2.0 trailer- Trailer Breakdown

The detailed breakdown of Rajinikanth's 2.0 trailer

Published: 03rd November 2018

The most awaited trailer of 2.0 has finally arrived in style and the quality of the visuals and the grandeur in the production has left most of the audience awestruck. Though the final 'huckoo' potion of the previously released teaser made Rajinikanth fans whistle, Akshay Kumar hardly had his moments in that. But, the new trailer majorly focuses on Akshay's avatar as the evil force fighting against the reign of technology. He even mouths his first Tamil dialogue, "Cell phone vechiruka ovvoruthanum kolakaranunga!" hinting at the agenda of his character in the film.

On the other hand, the trailer confirms that Amy Jackson is an android and not a scientist, and she plays the lady love of the world's most romantic robot, Chitti. And if you're a fan of easter eggs, grab a mirror and freeze the screen exactly at the twenty-first second, to know Amy Jackson's character name. The digital screen will have the mirror-imaged text which reads, 'Nila Configuration', referring to her robotic name. Thank me later!

Superstar Rajinikanth gets to sport three different looks -Vaseegaran, innocent Chitti and the wicked-yet-stylish Chitti 2.0- in the trailer and he looks so young that it feels like we are watching the extended cut of 2010's Endhiran. We also get to see a glimpse of the ultimate faceoff between Chitti and the evil force in the stadium, where the small bots integrate with each other to form two megabots fighting against each other. AR Rahman fans are also in for a delight as the techno-heavy background score sounds super-stylish, thereby elevating the thrill factor of the film.

On the whole, we can say that the makers have hit the bull's eye with the VFX, satisfying the diehard fans who have been waiting for five long years.
