Rakita Rakita Rakita, the first single from Jagame Thandhiram is here

On the occasion of Dhanush's birthday today, the team of Jagame Thandhiram has launched the first single Rakita Rakita Rakita. The song, composed by Santhosh Narayanan, has been sung by the music director himself, Dhanush, and Dhee. 

The lyrics penned by Vivek and the tone of the song is reminiscent of Rajinikanth's classic Raman Aandalum Ravanam Aandalum song from Mullum Malarum. 

The getup sported by Dhanush in the song too is uncannily similar to Rajini's Petta Velan. The song is said to be featured during the flashback portion of Jagame Thandhiram, which was shot in Madurai. 

Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the film also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Kalaiyarasan, Sanchana Natarajan and James Cosmo. Jagame Thandhiram has cinematography by Shreeyas Krishna and editing by Vivek Harshan.
