The trailer of Hit 2, the upcoming sequel of Hit: The First Case, was released by the makers on social media on Wednesday. The film is set to release on December 2.

The trailer starts with KD stating how criminals are mostly dumb and can be caught easily. Ashe is seen probing a murder case of a girl whose body is found, the trailer shows KD’s search for clues and probe the case in all possible ways. In a twist, it is revealed towards the end that the body they are investigating does not belong to one person wholly.

The film also stars Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, Posani Krishna Murali, Komalee Prasad, Srinath Maganti, Srikanth Iyengar among others. The technical team of Hit 2 includes cinematography by S Manikandan, and Garry BH handling the editing. Music is composed by MM Sree Lekha, and Suresh Bobbili.

Earlier, the makers had put out a teaser, introducing the world of Hit. The teaser showed director Sailesh stating how Homicide Intervention Team (HIT) is a fictional department he created across India and where different officers take charge. While the first part starred Vishwak Sen, the director also tiped off the audience that one has to watch Hit before watching Hit 2 to enjoy the sequel more. He also hinted “interested connections” between the two films.
