Sai Pallavi to star opposite Naga Chaitanya in his next

Chandoo Mondeti is directing NC 23

The makers of NC 23, Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film have announced on Tuesday that Sai Pallavi will be joining onboard as the female lead through a cryptic video. The makers shared a small video of what looks a script reading, with a woman joining the team, holding the script and interacting with the director, Naga Chaitanya and others.

What is interesting is that Sai Pallavi’s face is never revealed throughout the video, all while dropping some obvious, unsubtle hints at the actor’s inclusion in the film. The announcement also comes with the words, “The widely adored and loved lady joins the voyage…

NC 23 is currently in pre-production. Based on a real life incident that transpired a few years ago, Naga Chaitanya will be seen playing the role of a fisherman. Chaitanya and Chandoo were also seen recently doing a recce for their film in Srikakulam. NC 23 will mark the second collaboration between Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya, the duo had previously worked together in the 2021 romantic drama Love Story. Love Story was written and directed by Sekhar Kammula. NC 23 is produced by Allu Aravind’s banner Geetha Arts.
