Mayapetika gets OTT release date

Mayapetika, a recent comedy-drama film, which hit theatres on June 30, 2023 will be available to stream on the Aha platform from September 15 onwards.

The film, directed by Ramesh Raparthi, boasts of an ensemble cast including Payal Rajput, Viraj Ashwin, Simrat Kaur, Rajat Raghav, Sunil, Prudvi Raj, Shyamala Reddy and Himaja. The film’s story starts from an actor, played by Payal Rajput. The producer of her film gifts her a fancy smartphone. The phone goes from Payal’s hands to her assistant’s, and from there the story progresses as the phone rapidly begins to change hands. Each new owner of the phone brings their own spin to the narrative, propelling it forward. 

Mayapetika is produced by Magunta Sarath Chandra Reddy and Tharaknath Bommi Reddy, under the banner Just Ordinary Entertainments. Guna Balasubramanium is the music composer of the film, with cinematography by Suresh Rugutu, editing by D Venkata Prabhu and Nav Cuts and production design by Purushottam. 

Viraj Ashwin was recently seen in Sai Rajesh’s Baby, playing one of the film’s three leads alongside Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya. Payal Rajput’s last film is the Manchu Vishnu starrer Ginna.
