Kajal Aggarwal is all set to return to screens with Satyabhama, a crime thriller. The actor is notably playing the film's principal protagonist. This is Kajal's 65th film. She was recently seen in the Tamil horror comedy Ghosty and the Telugu masala entertainer Bhagavanth Kesari.
The teaser of the film was unveiled on Friday morning. The film is directed by newcomer Suman Chikkala. Satyabhama is produced by Bobby Tikka and Srinivasa Rao Takkalapalli under the Aurum Arts banner. Satyabhama also stars Prakash Raj and Naveen Chandra.
The teaser, released a few days before Deepavali, showcases Kajal as the titular police officer. Her life is haunted by the guilt of not being able to save a woman's life. Fighting superiors, Satyabhama goes on a journey to pursue the killers and bring justice to the wronged. The teaser also hints at the great epics, likening the hunt for the perpetrators to a mission to defeat Narakasura.
