First look of Sonia Gandhi's character from Yatra 2 out

First look of Sonia Gandhi's character from Yatra 2 out

The makers of Yatra 2 have announced on Tuesday that their film will be featuring a fictionalised counterpart of Indian National Congress leader Sonia Gandhi. Her character will be played by German actor Suzanne Bernert. They have also unveiled the first look of the character. Suzanne has previously worked in ads, web series, TV serials and Hindi films. 

While Yatra focused on the journey of Andhra Pradesh's former chief minister, the late YS Rajashekar Reddy, the sequel, scheduled to release on February 8 next year will focus on the life of Jagan Mohan Reddy, the incumbent chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. Yatra 2 will showcase how YS Jagan rose to become a leader, while also mapping out of the political landscape of Andhra Pradesh from the years 2009-2019. Tamil actor Jiiva is playing Jagan in the film. Mammootty, who played YSR in Yatra, might reprise his role in the sequel. 

Yatra 2 is written and directed by Mahi V Raghav. The film is produced by Mahi's home banner three autumn leaves, along with V Celluloid and Shiva Meka. Madhie is the cinematographer of the film, with music composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
