Prashanth Varma, whose upcoming film Hanu Man is currently undergoing post-production, made a special announcement on Monday, on the occasion of his birthday. The director extended invitation in an attempt to find new crew members to work in his upcoming films.

Hanu Man, as we had earlier reported, is Telugu film industry’s first indigenous superhero film. Hanu Man, played by Teja Sajja, belongs to a fictitious town named Anjanadri. Anjanadri, in turn, belongs to the larger Prashanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU).

In an attempt to find new crew members to work in the upcoming PVCU films, Prashanth has now invited interested editors, music composers, VFX artists, actors and line producers, among others, to apply by submitting their CVs to work in the PVCU. Taking to social media to share this news, his team writes, "Are you ready to team up in building an Opulent, innovative and a FANTASY filled Cinematic Universe. Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe’ a.k.a PVCU warmly welcomes you to join forces with us! To Join, email your CV/Work: talent@thepvcu.com"

Hanu Man, the origin film of the PVCU, stars Teja Sajja, Amrita Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Vinay Rai. The film was originally scheduled to release on May 12 but has been delayed due to pending VFX work. The film is written by Prashanth Varma and Scripsville, his writers’ room. K Nirajan Reddy is the producer of the film. The music of Hanu Man is jointly composed by Anudeep Dev, Hari Gowra and Krishna Saurabh. Dasaradhi Shivendra is the cinematographer of the film, with editing provided by Sai Babu Talari.
