After the announcement of The India House a few days ago, actor Nikhil Siddhartha on Thursday, marking the occasion of his birthday, announced his new film titled Swayambhu

Written and directed by Bharat Krishnamachari and produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar under Pixel Studios. The film is presented by Tagore Madhu and Vijay Kamisetty, along with GT Anand are co-producing the film.

Swayambhu will go on floors in August this year. The word Swayambhu means self-born or 'that is created by its own accord'. The first look poster of the film shows Nikhil as a warrior on a battlefield with a shield in one hand and a spear in the other. Nikhil is seen with long hair tied up in a bun in an armoured suit. Swayambhu will be the most high-budget film in Nikhil's career, who has started his career in films with humbler projects like Happy Days (2007) and the Deccanwood film Hyderabad Nawabs (2006).

Vasudev Munneppagari is the dialogue writer of the film. KGF-fame composer Ravi Basrur will be the music director of Swayambhu, with cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and production design by M Prabhakaran.
