Venkatesh-Sailesh Kolanu’s next titled Saindhav

Actor Venkatesh Daggubati is all set to team up with Sailesh Kolanu, the HIT franchise fame, for his next film titled Saindhav.  Along with the title, the makers also released a  glimpse video on Wednesday via social media platforms. This film marks the actor's 75th venture. The announcement poster displays the actor wielding a gun while looking all rugged and gritty, with visuals of a car ablaze and flames present in the background.

The glimpse video, which gives the viewers an inkling of what's to come in the film tells us, right off the bat, that Saindhav will be set in Chandraprastha, a fictional port city in South India. Then, in the following scene, we see Venkatesh outside the port docks, walking up to a bike with a Chandraprastha area license plate, opening a mysterious vial, then walking towards a container and leaving with a gun. He then stands and says, “I will be here, I am not going anywhere. Ask them to come”, following which we see the frame zoom out and reveal a bundle of bloodied men collapsed on the right.

Saindhav is written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu. He earlier directed HIT: The First Case in 2020, starring Vishwak Sen and HIT: The Second Case two years later, with Adivi Sesh as the main lead. He has also directed the Hindi remake of HIT: The First Case last year, with Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra. Saindhav will not be a part of the HIT cinematic universe. Venkatesh, who was last seen in the Anil Ravipudi film F3 alongside Varun Tej will be seen next in the Netflix original series, Rana Naidu along with his nephew, actor Rana Daggubati.

Saindhav will be produced by Venkat Boyanapalli, under his banner Niharika Entertainments. Santosh Narayanan will be composing music for Saindhav, with S Manikandan, Garry BH and Avinash Kolla providing cinematography, editing and production design for the film respectively.
