Samantha, who was last seen in Yashoda, is awaiting the release of her upcoming film Shaakuntalam. While the film is slated to hit the theatres on February 17, the actor has begun dubbing for her character in the film.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the actor shared a photo from the dubbing studio. She captioned the photo, “Art is my cure to all this madness, sadness and loss of belonging in the world & through it I'll walk myself home. -Nikki Rowe.” (sic)

The film, produced by Neelima Guna, is based on Kalidasa’s novel of the same name.  It was shot extensively around Hyderabad, including Ramoji Film City, Ananthagiri Hills, and Gandipet Lake. While Samantha will be playing the titular role, Dev Mohan will be playing Dushyanta.  Mohan Babu, Aditi Balan, Gautami, and Ananya Nagalla, will be playing pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, Samantha recently revealed that she is diagnosed with an auto-immune condition called Myositis. It is to be noted that she was on a break for a while to undertake treatment. On the acting front, Samantha also has Citadel, Kushi, and Arrangements Of Love in her pipeline.
