Writer Padmabhushan to screen free shows for women 

In an unprecedented event of sorts, Writer Padmabhushan is all set to screen free shows exclusively for women in 38 screens across the East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Nellore, Vizag, Ceded and Nizam regions of the Telugu states. The makers of the film announced this news at an event conducted in Hyderabad’s Prasads Labs, which had prominent television personality Suma Kanakala in attendance.

Writer Padmabhushan has steadily cemented its position as a blockbuster by opening through the weekend in India and the US to huge footfalls. It is now organizing free shows across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for women, as a hat-tip to Writer Padmabhushan’s overarching women empowerment theme, which takes prominence in the third act of the film. 

Writer Padmabhushan, starring Suhas, is the actor’s first theatrical release as a protagonist. The film also stars Ashish Vidyarthi, Rohini Molleti, Tina Shilparaj and Gowri Priya Reddy in supporting roles. Writer Padmabhushan is the maiden production of Chai Bisket Films, who have co-produced the film with Lahari Films. The music of the film has been composed by Kalyan Nayak and Sekhar Chandra, with cinematography by Venkat R Shakamuri and editing handled jointly by Siddharth Thatolu and Kodati Pavan Kalyan.
