Dev Mohan's look as Dushyant from Shaakuntalam to release soon

The film has Samantha Ruth Prabhu playing Shakuntala

The first look poster of Actor Dev Mohan from the upcoming mythological drama Shaakuntalam, will be unveiled on Sunday, the makers announced on social media. 

The film is written and directed by Gunasekhar.

The actor will be portraying King Dushyant in the film, while Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be essaying the role of Shakuntala. While the shooting has been wrapped up, the post-production works have been going at a brisk pace.

Set in Himalayas, Shaakuntalam is based on Kalidasa's epic Sanskrit play Abhijnana Shakuntalam. The film also has Mohan Babu as Durvasa Maharishi and Tamil actor Aditi Balan and Allu Arha in supporting roles. The Mani Sharma musical is slated to release on a pan-India scale in the second half of this year. The film is produced by Neelima Guna.
